Gagnon Named BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week

Calgary – The BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week is forward Aaron Gagnon of the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Gagnon earned player of the week honours by recording five goals and seven points, and a plus-7 rating in two games during the week of November 27th to December 3rd, leading the Thunderbirds to a 2-0 record in that span.

On Friday, December 1st, Gagnon recorded three goals and an assist, including a power play goal, and boasted a +4 rating as the Thunderbirds beat the Tri-City Americans 5-4 in Kennewick, WA.

On Saturday, December 2nd, Gagnon scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist with a +3 rating to lead the Thunderbirds to a 4-0 shutout win over the visiting Vancouver Giants.

Gagnon, a 20-year-old from Armstrong, B.C., is a Free Agent.

Honourable mention goes to Brock Nixon of the Kamloops Blazers and Zach Hamill of the Everett Silvertips.
