Parker VanBuskirk named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Parker
VanBuskirk of the Sarnia Sting is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week for the
week ending Sunday February 25, after posting a 2-0-0-0 record, along with a
0.50 goals against average, a .982 save percentage and a shutout in two
games.

The 18-year-old native of Windsor, ON started the week with a 40 save
shutout win over the Oshawa Generals on February 23. Two nights later, he
made 17 saves in a 2-1 win over the Belleville Bulls.

Derek Yeomans of the Seattle Thunderbirds was the WHL nominee after posting
a 3-0-0-0 record with a shutout, a 1.33 goals against average and .982 save
percentage while Ondrej Pavelec of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles was the
QMJHL nominee after allowing a 1.00 goals against average and .976 save
percentage in two wins last week.

Each week the CHL recognizes the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week and will
present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Year Award to the CHL’s top netminder
at the conclusion of the 2006-07 season.
