Kell Named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto – The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Sarnia Sting forward Trevor Kell is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending March 4, 2007. Kell scored four goals and added five assists for nine points in three games.

Friday night, the Thunder Bay native recorded a hat-trick and added an assist in a 7-3 victory over the Owen Sound Attack and was named the game’s first star. The next night, Kell had an assist in an 8-4 road loss to the Plymouth Whalers. Sunday night, he scored a goal and added three assists in an 8-4 victory over the visiting Windsor Spitfires.

The Chicago Black Hawks’ draft pick currently sits third in Sting scoring with 70 points, in 62 games.
