Dahm Named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto – The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Sudbury Wolves goaltender Sebastian Dahm is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 1, 2007. Dahm stopped 91 of 97 shots posting a 2.33 goals against average and a .929 save percentage leading the Wolves to three consecutive wins over the Mississauga IceDogs and a berth in the second-round of the playoffs.

The 19-year-old native of Copenhagen, Denmark made 21 saves on Tuesday night in a 3-1 victory and 32 saves on Thursday night for a 6-3 win. Dahm continued his fine play stopping 38 saves on Sunday night giving the Wolves a 6-3 road win versus the IceDogs.

The Wolves second-round playoff action begins Thursday night when they travel to Barrie to face the Colts.
