Dittmer Named BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week

Calgary – The BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week is forward Tyler Dittmer of the Brandon Wheat Kings. Dittmer earned player of the week honours by scoring three goals and four points with a +4 rating in two playoff games during the week of April 2nd to April 8th, helping the Wheat Kings win the opening two games of their MNP Eastern Conference Semi-Final series versus the Calgary Hitmen.

On Friday, April 6th, Dittmer scored three goals, including the overtime game-winner, to lead the Wheat Kings to a 4-3 series-opening victory over the visiting Hitmen. He was named the game’s 1st star.

On Saturday, April 7th, Dittmer added an assist as the Wheat Kings skated to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Hitmen to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series

Dittmer, a 19-year-old from Brandon, MB, is in second full WHL season with his hometown Wheat Kings, and is a free agent.
