On Wednesday October 24th, Weber registered two goals and one assist for three points in a 7-0 victory over the Erie Otters. He was named the games first star. Two nights later, Weber scored a pair of goals leading the Rangers to a 5-2 win over the Windsor Spitfires. On Sunday October 28th, the 19 year-old native of Bern, Switzerland netted a goal and two assists for three points in a 3-0 victory over the London Knights. His efforts weren’t overlooked as he was named the games first star.
Weber is in his second season with the Kitchener Rangers and is currently in second place in scoring amongst all OHL defencemen with 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists).
Michael Frolik of the Rimouski Oceanic was the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League nominee after scoring six goals and one assist for seven points in three games. Jason Reese of the Tri City Americans was the Western hockey League nominee after recording three goals and four assists for seven points in three games.
