2007-08: Wudrick scored 20 goals and 24 assists in 66 games during his second full season with the Swift Current Broncos. He posted a plus-10 ranking and collected 72 penalty minutes. Wudrick was an important part of a Broncos’ group that upset the Regina Pats in the first round of the WHL playoffs, before bowing out to the heavily favored Calgary Hitmen in seven games. Wudrick played with veteran Levi Nelson (BOS) at times during the past season.
2008-09: Wudrick had a break-out season, scoring 35 goals in 69 games. He continued to play a very strong game, scoring a number of his goals very tight around the net. Wudrick spent a considerable amount of time on the powerplay and matching up against the opposition’s top forwards, showing an ability to play at both ends of the ice.
Established himself as a confident handler of the puck. He continues to develop a nose for the net, showing little hesitation to aggressively drive through traffic to create scoring opportunities.
Wudrick will be back with Swift Current of the WHL for the 2009-10 season. He is a power forward for the left wing position and might develop into a Tomas Holmstrom type player.
