After missing six games with a groin injury (12/21 – 12/30), Dennis posted 31 saves in his first game back in the lineup, a game against Toronto on Jan. 2. On Jan. 11 Dennis was named the game’s third star after making 25 saves against Manchester. He made 28 saves to record his second shutout of the season and earned first star honors against Toronto on Feb. 2. Talent Analysis
He has a very unorthodox style, and fought through a tough season in front of a young Rochester Americans team this past season. Skating and puck handling are areas that call for improvement. Dennis gets by on guile and competitiveness, and continues to project as an NHL backup.
