History
Delory was the eight overall selection in the 2004 OHL Draft from the York Simcoe Express where he played defense for the first time of his career. The 6’5 Delory was a forward up to 2003-04.
2004-05: Delory struggled to record points in his first season with the Generals, his second season at defense. He played in 61 games, but only recorded five points (one goal, four assists) and 82 PIM. His 82 PIM were second among Oshawa rookies, seventh most on the team overall.
2005-06: The giant defenseman made tremendous strides in his second season in the OHL. The durable big man led the team in games played with 67, and established himself as one of the team’s top defenseman in just his third year at the position. He recorded 32 points (six goals, 26 assists) and 136 PIM.

He will need continued work on his overall game, particularly if he’s to play defense at the next level, but he’s a player of excellent size and strength, which could be one of his greatest assets as he turn pro. DeLory is projected to be a fifth or sixth defenseman in the NHL.
