History

2005-06: He scored five goals and added 21 assists in 68 games this year as he became a real go-to guy for the Spitfires.

Weber surprised a lot of people winning the hardest shot in the Top Prospects Skills competition. The native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania played against the opponents best players often and paired with Mitch Maunu. They proved to be one of the most physical twosomes in the league.

2006-07: Weber split the season with Barrie and Windsor, both of the OHL, scoring a career high 34 points in the process.

2007-08: Weber was recalled by Buffalo twice during the regular season, the first time on Oct. 26 where he made his NHL debut at Florida. He was recalled again on Mar. 12, and recorded his first NHL point off an assist at Pittsburgh the same day. He recorded 14 points in 59 games with Rochester (AHL), and was third on the Sabres with a plus 12 rating. He scored his first professional point, which was also his first multi-point game, at Hamilton on Oct. 15. He scored his first professional goal at Hamilton on Jan. 12.

Talent Analysis

A tough, defensive-minded player that can make the long pass out of his own zone.  He has a hard shot and takes pride in finishing his checks.  He has improved his offensive game to a respectable level, and did not look out of place in a scattering of NHL games last season.
