History
2006-07: Played for Team Illinois Midget squad in the MWEHL. Selected by the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets in the 2nd round of the 2006 USHL Entry Draft with the 13th overall pick.
2007-08: Joined to the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets for his first season in the USHL, where he was a starter from day one. Netted five goals and 17 points in 59 games.
2008-09: A trade dealt him to Fargo this season, where he netted two goals and eight points in 58 games. Claimed 139 PIM, over 100 minutes more than last season.
