History
2007-08: Played for the Dallas Stars Midget AAA team. Also saw action in two NAHL games for the Texas Tornado. Finished the season with Allen High School team. Selected in the 4th round, 35th overall in the 2008 USHL Entry Draft by the Omaha Lancers.
2008-09: Played first season in the USHL for the Omaha Lancers. Named to the USHL’s Western Division All-Star Team. Missed time due to reoccurring knee injury.
Talent Analysis
A big power forward type but lacks overall size. Definitely needs to add muscle. Will go get you those dirty goals. Uses body effectively in the corners and in tight. Needs to work on skating, but knee injury has obviously set him back.
Future
Daugherty has verbally committed to Northern Michigan.
