Bjorn Krupp

Prospect Grade: 6.0 D  (About Prospect Grades)

Profile Contributed By: HF Staff

History

2007-08: Krupp, the son of former NHL defenseman Uwe Krupp, was a second round pick of the Belleville Bulls in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection.

2008-09: Krupp played in 57 games for the Bulls, scoring one goal and adding three assists.  He registered 22 penalty minutes and was a +9 for the season.  In 17 playoff games for the Bulls, he did not register a point.

Talent Analysis

Krupp certainly has the size to eventually become an NHL defenseman.  He is responsible in his own end of the ice, but lacks skill. He'll be a defensive defenseman.

Future

Bottom-pairing defender.
