History
After three seasons as a member of the PEI Rocket, LaFleur was hoping to become a professional player. However, his performance this past Fall showed that he was not yet ready for that jump. He found a QMJHL team on which to play an overage year during 2008-09.
Talent Analysis
Good size, with very inconsistent coverage of the net. Butterfly netminder, who needs to improve lateral movement, and timing.
Future
It is unlikely that the Rangers will sign LaFleur to a professional contract.
