Talent Analysis
The hard-working center can play the defensive shutdown role but also puts up solid offensive numbers by driving hard to the net in the attacking zone. Arnold is a physical two-way center with great character and an excellent work ethic. The solidly built forward has greatly improved his skating and can play on both specialty teams. He has the hockey smarts to exploit his opponents’ weaknesses and recognize where his highly talented wingers are on the ice. Arnold projects as a top-nine forward with some offensive upside at the NHL level.
Future
Arnold has returned to Boston College for his junior year where he plays on one of the top two lines for the Eagles. The hardworking center is expected to help lead BC's offense but still play solidly in the defensive zone as well.
