Brian Stewart

History

2009-10: After a strong season for Northern Michigan University, both defenseman Erik Gustafsson and Stewart earned a chance to play with the Phantoms. In 37 games as the starter for NMU, he posted a 2.43 goals against average and a 0.927 save percentage on his way to 18 wins. He played one game for the Phantoms, posting a 3.59 goals against average and a 0.882 save percentage.

Talent Analysis

Stewart has plenty of size to play between the pipes but possesses an average skill-set. He is not particularly quick but plays a decent positional game.

Future

Stewart signed a 1-year deal with the Flyers and expects to be a member of the Phantoms in 2010-11.
