History

Talent Analysis

Montpetit is a game breaker who is blessed with great skating skill. Not only is he quick with his feet, but he is a strong skater. This has helped make him a great one-on-one player. He has a great offensive package and possesses a lot of upside. Has a steady two-way and can play the penalty-kill. He’s a good kid who is known to have a poise and drive.

Future

Montpetit has committed to the University of Wisconsin. Depending on roster space, it is unclear whether he’ll kick off his colligate career next fall or in 2009. If it is the latter, expect him to return to Black Hawks for further development.
