History
The Leafs went searching for the next Swedish late-round gem with their seventh-round selection. Gunnarsson was passed over in the draft for three straight years before being selected this time around. In 30 games during the 2006-07 season with Linkoping of Sweden's Elite League, he posted only two goals and two assists.
