2006-07: A late bloomer, Linglet finally established himself as a bona fide prospect in 2006-07. He posted excellent scoring numbers with the Peoria Rivermen in the AHL, including 31 goals. That total was second-best on the Rivermen, and tied for thirteenth-highest in the entire league. Originally sole property of Peoria, the Blues inked Liglet to a two-way contract midway through the season.
Linglet has good offensive instincts. He’s not overly physical, but is an adept playmaker with excellent hands and a great scoring touch, which he has demonstrated at all levels of hockey.
Linglet has demonstrated his abilities at the minor league level, but it is uncertain if he will be able to translate this to NHL success. It looks as though he will be relied upon to provide first-line offense in Peoria in the near future.
