Chris Lawrence

Prospect Grade: 6.0 C  (About Prospect Grades)

Profile Contributed By: Phil Laugher

History

Picked up 7 points in 6 games at the 2004 Under 17 championships and helped lead Team Ontario to a gold medal. He played on one of their top lines and went head to head with the top lines of opposing teams. Played in the 2005 CHL Top Prospects Game.

Talent Analysis

Lawrence has a lot of offensive tools but he hasn’t put them together yet at this level. Like many big kids, he may be a slower developer in that regard, but with his package of size, skill and skating, he could be a force when he does put it together. Needs to get stronger and play more physical and be more consistent.
