History
2006-07: King made his NHL debut, and was up with St. Louis at various points during the year, totaling 27 games in all. He was with the team for the first half of October, going pointless with seven penalty minutes while playing a very limited role. He got into a few more games during January, and had another stretch of games in the weeks leading up to the trade deadline. He scored his first NHL goal late in the year. While in the AHL, King played 38 games and recorded nine points and 102 penalty minutes.
Talent Analysis
King is a big, strong winger, best known for serving as his team’s enforcer. He plays a physical brand of hockey, and is obviously more than willing to drop the gloves. King’s offensive potential is very limited, but he can bang in the occasional goal.
Future
King looks like he can be a fourth liner in the NHL when his team is in need of some muscle.
