History

2010-11: Daniel Muzito Bagenda played for the Wings HC in suburban Stockholm and skated for Uppland in the TV-Pucken tournament for high school players in Sweden. In seven games with the Wings HC U18 team he scored 2 goals with 2 assists and 2 penalty minutes. Muzito Bagenda scored 5 goals and had 29 penalty minutes in eight games in the TV-Pucken tournament.

2011-12: Muzito Bagenda played seven games with the Wings HC men's team as a 16-year-old and skated for the Arlanda club's U18 and U16 teams. He was a team captain for Uppland playing in his second TV-Pucken tournament. Muzito Bagenda had 1 assist and was -2 with 2 penalty minutes for the Arlanda-based club in Division 1 play. In two games with the Wings' U18 team he scored 2 goals with 2 assists and had 2 penalty minutes. He scored 10 goals with 3 assists and 8 penalty minutes in eight games during the TV-Pucken tournament.

2012-13: Muzito Bagenda moved up to MODO in the top division — skating for the club's U20 and U18 teams — and played for Sweden's U17 team at the 2013 World Hockey Challenge. He scored 1 goal with 3 assists and was an even plus/minus with 6 penalty minutes in seven games for MODO in the U20 SuperElit league. Muzito Bagenda scored 21 goals with 22 assists and was +36 with 44 penalty minutes in 33 regular season games for MODO's U18 team. MODO captured a silver medal and in four playoff games Muzito Bagenda scored 4 goals and was +4 with 2 penalty minutes. He had 3 assists and 4 penalty minutes in six games at the WHC. Sweden defeated Russia in the gold medal game.

2013-14: Muzito Bagenda appeared in his first SHL game, skating briefly for MODO in a January game against Orebro HK. He spent most of the season in the SuperElit league with the MODO U20 squad and won a gold medal with the club's U18 squad. He played for Sweden's U18 team in the 2013 Ivan Hlinka Memorial and 2014 World Junior Championship tournaments. Muzito Bagenda scored 15 goals with 7 assists and was +8 with 48 penalty minutes in 44 games with MODO, including five SuperElit playoff games. He scored 2 goals with 1 assist and was +4 with 2 penalty minutes in four games at the Ivan Hlinka tournament and was -1 with 1 assist and 2 penalty minutes at the WJC for Sweden. He scored 2 goals with 8 assists and was +4 with 2 penalty minutes playing for MODO's U18 team. Muzito Bagenda was ranked 33rd amongst European skaters in Central Scouting's final rankings prior to the 2014 NHL Draft.
