Talent Analysis

A big powerful player who is quite mobile and can play either on the blueline or as a forward.  With his versatility, any pro team would be more than happy to have him in their system and the Oilers are no different.  The well-spoken and articulate Michigan native is a cerebral player and uses his on-ice smarts to his advantage.  His strength and size were an obvious advantage at the college level but he’ll have to develop his game more to have a successful pro career.
