History
2007-08: The Wild noticed the unknown Elo crashing the net while watching scouting video of Finnish goaltender Harri Sateri. Playing for Lukko Rauma in the Finnish Junior A league, Elo had 27 points on 12 goals and 15 assists in 42 regular season games and two goals and an assist in two playoff games. Drafted in the fifth round by the Wild, 145th overall.
Talent Analysis
A still mostly-unknown commodity for the most part, Elo is a big guy at 6'3 and 189 pounds at 18 years old. He likes to use that size to go hard to the front of the net and also has a decent set of hands.
