History

2006-07: Doyle endured a challenging season this past winter as he was dealt near the trade deadline from the No. 1 ranked Everett Silvertips to the Swift Current Broncos. While the Broncos qualified for post-season play in the less than stellar East Division of the Eastern Conference, Doyle's hopes for a Memorial Cup appearance realistically ended with the deal. He scored eight goals and 21 assists in 58 games.

2007-08: Had a better year statistically with Swift Current, 48 points in 70 games.

Talent Analysis

The native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is a prototypical stay-at-home defenseman. Doyle has above average mobility, a heavy shot and is receptive to physical play.

Future

Doyle was passed over in the 2007 draft, but is garnering more attention in 2008.
