Talent Analysis
Highly skilled and long striding centerman who seems to have several "gears" when he skates. Accelerates very quickly from a stop. One NHL scout said about Erik, "including the Europeans in the draft, this kid in my opinion has the most offensive skill of anyone". At his most dangerous at top speed when his puck skills can dazzle opposition defencemen and is able to get his deadly accurate shot off from just about anywhere or any position. Has picked up his physical play as the season has progressed.
