Following the Nashville Predators’ Game 7 win over the Anaheim Ducks in the opening round of the NHL playoffs, Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne talked about how the team won with a mix of experienced “old guys” and some exciting and talented younger players. Everything is “moving so fast” this season for Milwaukee Admirals forward and newly-minted Nashville Predators prospect, Frederick Gaudreau.

He’s tied for the team lead with 32 points (12 goals, 20 assists) in 51 games, and on Jan. 5th the Predators signed the undrafted 22-year-old to his first NHL contract. Read more»

The AHL’s Midwest Division features several talented incoming rookies including Rockford’s Teuvo Teravainen and Grand Rapids’ Anthony Mantha, as well as several key prospects entering their second pro season such as Chicago’s Ty Rattie and the duo of Miikka Salomaki and Colton Sissons in Milwaukee.
