History

2003-04: Played in his rookie season for Peterborough of the OHL. Before that he played tier-2 for the Waterloo Midgets.

2006-07: Stewart spent the season with Cincinnati (ECHL), netting eight goals and 23 points in 52 games. He also racked up a career-high 126 penalty minutes.

2007-08: The Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) gained a new winger in Stewart this season. In 69 games he potted 10 goals and 17 points, along with a career-high 137 penalty minutes. He also got his first look at the NHL, appearing in one game with the Habs (five PIM).
