History
2006-07: After four less than successful season with the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL), the towering forward brought size to the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL). He posted career-highs in games played (60), goals (12), assists (9), and penalty minutes (77).
2007-08: In his second year with the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL), McKenzie saw his numbers improve from last season. In 68 games, he scored 19 goals and added 21 assists to his total. He also saw his penalty minutes increase, registering 103 minutes as he brought more physicality to his game. Another 12 playoff games gave the forward 14 points (8g+6a).
2008-09: Rookie with Milwaukee.
