Watt played 66 games with the WHL Vancouver Giants putting up 6 goals and 7 assists for 13 points. He also posted an impressive 213 penalty minutes.
2008-09: The winger registered just two assists in his first season of pro hockey with QC (AHL), but what stood out most were Watt’s 146 penalty minutes. He also saw time with the Las Vegas Wrangles (ECHL), netting five goals and 14 points in 18 games, along with 51 more penalty minutes to add to his total; 16 more playoff games resulted in three more goals and seven points and a staggering 70 more minutes in the penalty box. He’ll be with Abbotsford (AHL) to begin the 2009-10 season.
2005-06: The young forward topped his exceeded his previous WHL best by 24 points in eight fewer games last year with the WHL league champion Vancouver Giants.
2006-07: This was Watt’s best season in the WHL to date, a 70 game campaign with the Vancouver Giants. He racked up a career-high 34 goals and 53 points and 182 penalty minutes, which was his lowest WHL PIM total to date.
