History
2007-08: Hillen was inked by the Islanders after three seasons with Colorado College (WCHA). He saw ice time in two games for the Islanders this season, producing his first pro point, an assist. Finishing the season back at Colorado, he recorded 37 points (6+31) in 41 games for the club, racking up 60 PIM in the process. He was a WCHA First team All-Star and selected for the NCAA West First All-American Team 2008.
