As NHL clubs continue the pruning of their rosters in preparation for the 2014-15 season, the inevitable result is more ice time for veterans tuning up for the coming campaign which leads to fewer opportunities to shine for the younger NHL prospects. So, while there was still a busy slate of 2014 NHL preseason games played between Friday and Sunday, there were not as many notable prospect performances to choose from as there had been in the earliest days of the preseason. With not much salary cap space to spare, the Boston Bruins could have several top prospects compete and come away with NHL roster spots by the end of training camp.

There are not too many significant changes to the Boston Bruins Spring Top 20. There were a couple notable graduations however, led by former number one prospect Dougie Hamilton.

The Boston Bruins have stockpiled prospects and the Providence Bruins are starting to see some of those players shine. Multiple prospects are starting to see time at the NHL too as the Bruins have dealt with the injury bug this season.
