Jean-Philippe Lamoureux
History
2007-08: Leads the nation in most of the goaltending categories including goals against average (1.64) and save percentage (.936). His six shutouts are also tied for first in the nation. He has backstopped a Fighting Sioux team that also allowed just 1.76 goals per game going into the Frozen Four. Lamoureux earlier won the WCHA goaltending title after posting a 1.74 goals against average and a .929 save percentage in conference play. He is a three-time WCHA Defensive Player of the Week honoree and captured the National Player of the Month honor in October. He would go on to be named to the All-WCHA Second Team. The senior netminder set a number of records this season, including becoming the first goaltender in WCHA history to record four shutouts in his first five games of the season and starting in 41games - a new North Dakota single-season school record.
