History
In 2005, Allard was the first player drafted by the expansion St. John's Fog Devils of the QMJHL. After a decent first year, the points started to come for Allard in 2006-07, as the big pivot notched 38 assists and 50 points in 69 games. Allard scored five assists against Shawinigan on Feb 14th, 2007. His stock fell rapidly leading up to the 2007 draft as he was once deemed a potential second rounder. Allard's inconsistent play and an abysmal -30 over the regular season did not help his cause. His -4 in four playoff games sealed his fate
Talent Analysis
A big center that can skate, Allard has lots of potential. He has enough poise and vision to play the point on St. John's power play. But until he uses his size better and comes to play every game, he will remain a project
