Talent Analysis

Cooper is a forward who thrives in the physical aspects of the game. He’s not afraid to play the body and can finish his checks. One of Cooper’s greatest attributes is his skating ability. He’s an excellent skater with long, smooth strides. He moves well through traffic and transition quite well also. Cooper’s size can best be described as tall and somewhat lanky. Despite having a thin frame, he uses his body well particularly around the net and in checking situations. He also does a good job of utilizing his body to protect the puck. He plays both ends of the ice quite well. He’s shown that he can be defensively responsible. He’s good at following plays and anticipates well. Cooper possesses good puck skills, but could stand to be a bit more patient with the puck. He loves to shoot the puck and has a very good wrist shot.
