2006-07: Alcen split the season between Brynas U20 and the clubs senior team in the Elitserien league. In 26 games with the juniors, he tallied 17 goals and 46 points, a career-high total for the forward. He then appeared in 32 games with the senior squad, but failed to register any points in his first extended look at the senior league. He again competed with the Swedish National Team, this time with the U19 squad. In eight games of international play, he tallied a pair of goals and six points.
2007-08: The forward split the season between Brynas’ U20 and senior squads. In seven games with the junior team, he netted 12 goals and 21 points (Silver Medal winner with Brynas). He then got the nod to jump up to the Elitserien team, where he posted four goals and 10 points (Most Points by Junior) in 39 games. He also suited up for six games at the WJC, tallying a goal and four points, as well as a Silver Medal, with the Swedish National U20 Team.
2008-09: Alcen, still honing his skills in Sweden, tallied a goal and two points in 50 games with Brynas (Elitserien), his first full season with the club. He also appeared in one game with the clubs U20 squad in the SuperElit league, where he tallied three goals and seven points.
2009-10: Alcen skated in 47 games for last-place Rogle in Sweden’s Elitserien; scoring 2 goals with 6 assists and finishing -12 with 20 PMs. He appeared in all 10 games during Sweden’s Kvalserien series and was scoreless with 2 PMs as Rogle was demoted to AllSvenskan (Sweden’s second league).
2010-11: Alcen skated in 31 of 52 games for fourth-place Leksand in AllSvenskan and was loaned to Division I (3rd level) Vita Hasten, where he played seven games including one qualifying game. Alcen scored 4 goals with 11 assists and was +2 with 37 PMs for Leksand. He scored 2 goals with 5 assists for Vita Hasten.
