2009-10: Posted 8 goals and 9 assists in 25 games playing as a senior at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. After completing his season, Lunden was signed to a one-year deal by the Phoenix Coyotes and assigned to their AHL affiliate. Playing in the AHL, Lunden posted 2 assists and 7 penalty minutes in 8 games.
