2007-08: His second year with the club, the net-minder appeared in 55 games with the Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL); he posted a 3.04 GAA and a .903 save percentage.
2008-09: Millan spent the season with current NCAA Champs Boston University, and what a season it was. On top of winning the NCAA title, he was nominated to the H-East All-Rookie Team and was the leagues Rookie of the Year and got an All-Star Second Team nod for his efforts. Appearing in 33 games, he posted an impressive 1.85 goals against average and a .923 save percentage, personal best numbers. Expect more from this seasons New England Rookie of the Year in 2009-10.
2009-10: Millan started 32 of 38 games for Boston University as a sophomore. Despite struggling to stay above .500 for much of the year, the Terriers finished third in the tightly-packed Hockey East conference and Millan's numbers reflected the performance of his team. He finished 16-16 with one shutout and had a 3.15 GAA and .891 save percentage.
2010-11: Millan handled the bulk of the goaltending chores for Boston University for the third straight year; starting 35 of 39 games as a junior. The Terriers showed some improvement from the previous year record-wise, and again finished third in Hockey East, but were denied an NCAA playoff bid for the second consecutive season. Millan was 16-10-8 for the season with one shutout and a 2.68 GAA and .919 save percentage. He was named to the Hockey East Second All-Star team.
Talent Analysis
After an off-year in 2009-10, Millan rebounded in 2010-11 with a stingy season. The former Frozen Four champion is athletic and has great reflexes allowing him to make some spectacular saves. However, Millan is somewhat undersized and has been known for his inconsistency.
Future
Millan will play his senior season at Boston University in 2011-12.
