History
2005-06: Zeliska, a native of Martin, Slovakia, played with the HC Trinec (Czech Republic) U-20 team, scoring 12 goals and 4 assists with 85 PMs in 36 games. Zeliska played for Slovakia at the 2006 U18 World Junior Championships and scored 1 goal and 1 assist. Zeliska was selected by the Rangers in the seventh round (204th overall) of the 2006 NHL Draft and selected by the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders in the first round (11th overall) of the CHL Import Draft.
2006-07: Zeliska moved to North America to play for the WHL Prince Albert Raiders. He scored 4 goals with 25 assists and was -1 with 77 PMs as Prince Albert finished fourth in the East Division. He skated in all five playoff games for the Raiders and had 1 goal with a team-best 4 assists and was +2 with 4 PMs.
2007-08: Zeliska returned to Europe to continue his career and was the second-leading scorer for HC Trinec's U-20 team behind Richard Panik (TB). Zeliska scored 23 goals with a team-high 29 assists in 37 games. He scored 2 goals with 4 assists in seven Czech junior playoff games as HC Trinec reached the finals after finishing eighth during the regular season.
2008-09: Zeliska split his first pro season between HC Trinec in the Czech Extraliga and second division HC Havirov. In limited ice time with eleventh-place HC Trinec, he was scoreless and -1 in 14 games. Zeliska scored 10 goals with 5 assists and 52 PMs in 32 games for HC Havirov.
2009-10: Zeliska started the season with HC Havirov before returning home in January to play for MHC Martin in the Slovakian Extraliga. In 28 games with HC Havirov he scored 4 goals with 5 assists and 26 PMs. Zeliska scored 1 goal with 2 PMs in thirteen games for fourth-place MHC Martin during the regular season. Zeliska was with MHC Martin during its run to the playoff semifinals but had no points or penalty minutes in twelve games.
2010-11: Zeliska played with MHC Martin as a 22-year-old in his first full pro season in Slovakia. He also skated for MHK Dolny Kubin in the Slovakian second league.
