The Panthers used a second fourth round selection to pick defenseman Matt Duffy, 104th overall.

A member of the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs of the EJHL prior to college.

2006-07: As a sophomore did a solid job on the Maine blue line this season. 

Talent Analysis

Duffy has good size and speed.  Plays on the power play as well as providing a physical presence with heavy hits.

Future

He will continue to develop his skills at the University of Maine.
