History

Hails from Westford, Massachusetts and played Division I NE Prep High School Hockey with the Belmont Hill School.  Led his team in scoring with a 26 point total (15g, 11a) in 22 games as a junior and was captain of the squad for his senior season leading them to the Independent League title.

2007-08: In his first year of collegiate hockey, McCollem netted five goals and nine assists in 31 games for Harvard University.

2008-09: Another 14-point season.

2009-10: Limited by injury during his junior year at Harvard, McCollem skated in just 8 games and scored 1 goal, 1 assist for 2 points.

Talent Analysis

McCollem is a hard-working forward who will never be mistaken for a top-six scoring forward. Nonetheless, when healthy McCollem shows a great compete level, and many intangibles needed to ice a winning team.

Future

McCollem will look to rebound in his senior season at Harvard for the 2010-11 season.
