The Stanley Cup Finals are still underway between the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks, but much of the attention around the NHL has turned to the 2013 NHL Draft, scheduled for June 30th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

When the last name of “Domi” comes up in a hockey-related conversation, the inevitable conclusion is that this reference is to former NHL tough-guy, Tie Domi. But the former Toronto Maple Leafs' forward has a son named Max who happens to be a pretty good hockey player, and who could in time change the perception of the Domi name.

The Canadians won the gold medal at this year's Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament held in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. They truly deserved it because they played with passion, pride and will. Even their team motto says "I'm willing“ so there must have been a lot of willingness to obtain that golden piece of metal. And it wouldn't happen if it wasn't for their widespread qualities; Canada just dominated the tournament – in net, in their own zone and in the offensive zone.
