2006-07: He created a lot of buzz about his potential based on what he was able to do for his team, the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL. In 70 games, Gratchev put in 35 goals, 42 assists for 77 points and also had 88 penalty minutes.

2007-08: In his third season with Rimouski (QMJHL), the Russian winger recorded 29 points (9+20) in 39 games with the club, and added another two points, both goals, in nine post season appearances with Oceanic.
Unsigned by the NY Islanders in 2009.
2009-10: Signed with the ECHL Elmira Jackals.
Talent AnalysisGratchev is very quick, and while not big, is a solidly-built player who is hard to knock off the puck and possesses an impressive determination. He does need to work on his defensive game, reading the play, and using his linemates better.
