Michael Fink
History
2006-07: Played his sophomore season at Hopkins H.S. centering the team’s first line. Led the Royals in scoring. Selected by the Black Hawks in the 8th round of the 2006 USHL Entry Draft with the 89th overall pick.
2007-08: Joined to the Waterloo Black Hawks for his first season in the USHL. For a young player, he made a good jump. Had a couple of minor injuries but nothing to deter his progress. In addition to regular shifts, saw time on the powerplay.
Talent Analysis
Fink is a skilled winger who can get up and down the rink very well. He has great hands and great vision. He was one of the younger players in the league but shows a great upside. Should develop into an all-star the following as he continues to grow.
Future
Fink should be returning to the Black Hawks next season. His scholarship with the University of North Dakota begins in fall 2009.
