Gergen started his NCAA career strongly with Minnesota-Duluth after coming out of Shattuck-St. Mary's.

2006-07: Gergen had a disappointing 2006-07 campaign for Minnesota-Duluth. After recording 14 goals and 8 assists as a freshman, Gergen slumped to only five goals and 11 assists as a sophomore.
