History
2007-08: Jordan became the latest in a long line of Whalers to be chosen by Carolina. The Czech-born blueliner had a good first season in the OHL, finishing with a combined six goals and 22 assists in 61 games with Windsor and Plymouth. He then added three assists in four playoff games with the Whalers. While some may have considered his selection in the fourth round a reach, Carolina had the benefit of closely watching Jordan while he was in Plymouth, which is owned by Carolina owner Peter Karmanos.
