History
2003-04: Led all Clarkson freshman in goals, assists and points including his first career multi-point game December 6th against UMass-Lowell. Sullivan received steady playing time at both winger positions on Clarkson’s top line. Put together a great run in the ECAC Tournament only to watch Harvard score a late third period game-winning goal during the torunament finals.
8th Round, #244 overall, 2003 by Los Angeles.
2004-05: 17 points on 8 goals, Sullivan did not improve on his numbers from his freshman year. Clarkson is still and young team. Graduation will open up two top-six forward spots and an extra year of experience for the entire team will only help Sullivan's chances of finding better scoring opportunities.
2005-06: Skated on the top two lines for Clarkson this season and Sullivan's production improved as a result. Registered 26 poin in 36 games for a vastly improved Clarkson team. Registered two-goal games against St. Lawrence and Princeton in showing flashes of a break-out season for him next fall.
Talent Analysis
Sullivan is the power forward of the future. Already possessing a large frame and good on-ice vision, Sullivan needs to add a few pounds of muscle. Has a good scoring touch, but is prone to inconsistency in finding the back of the net.
Future
Traditionally, NHL power forwards have been late bloomers and Sullivan is still developing. Currently, Sullivan does not project much higher than a 3rd line grinder but is beginning to show a tendency towards workman-like goals.
