History
2008-09: Hoefflin skated for perennial U18 power Jungandler Mannheim in Germany and competed for Germany's national team at the U17 and U18 levels. In 36 regular season games for Mannheim, the regular season and playoff champ, he scored 14 goals with 31 assists and 26 PMs. Hoefflin scored 6 goals and 8 assists in 8 playoff games. Hoefflin had 1 assist in five games with the U17 team and in six games at the 2009 U18 World Championship he finished with one assist and 4 PMs.
2009-10: In the junior league DNL with Jungadler Mannheim, Hoefflin posted 32 goals and 35 assists for 67 points in 24 games. With the second division Heilbronner Falken, he posted three assists in 18 games.
2010-11: Hofflin skated in 54 regular season games as a rookie in the QMJHL with the Quebec Remparts, scoring 14 goals, 31 assists for 45 points. He added another 4 goals and 10 assists in 15 playoff games. Hofflin was named to the Quebec league's All-Rookie Team for his efforts.
Talent Analysis
Hofflin may not possess ideal size, but makes up for it with blazing speed and good hockey sense. A capable goal-scorer, he is an even better set-up man with strong offensive awareness.
Future
Hofflin was acquired by Acadie-Bathurst following his promising rookie season in the QMJHL and will lace up with the Titan in 2011-12.
