History
2006-07: Was named the Otters Rookie-of-the-Year. Helped Team Ontario to a gold medal at the Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Nicknamed "Smiley" for his positive personality.
2007-08: Played only 20 games for the Erie Otters due to an elbow injury. Coached by Robbie Ftorek.
2008-09: After it was determined that Gaulton needed surgery to reconstruct his elbow, he was expected to lose the year. However, after spending the first half of the season rehabbing, Gaulton returned to the ice in January.
Talent Analysis
Prior to his injury, Gaulton was an excellent puck-moving blueliner, with a heavy shot. Whether he will regain that form after he has completely rehabbed is unknown.
