History

2008-09: While he put up 27 points as a member of the Kelowna Rockets, his most visible statistic is his 188 penalty minutes.

2009-10: In his second WHL season with Kelowna, Callahan upped his offensive totals with 20 goals, 27 assists for 47 points. The winger also added 165 PIMs. In 12 playoff games, Callahn scored 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points.

2010-11: Callahan took on a more prominent role for the WHL’s Kelowna Rockets. He was able to put up 23 goals and 31 assists for 54 points in 62 games with the team. He also cut his penalty minutes in half, finishing the year with 87. Callahan had a productive playoff as well, scoring 5 goals and 4 assists for 9 points over 10 games.

Talent Analysis

Agitator/scrapper type player. At 5'11, he won't be a fighter in the NHL, but rather get under one's skin from the fourth line.

Future

Callahan will fight for a job on Grand Rapids in the AHL.
